The Coronavirus pandemic has given a rise to cybercriminals who aim to exploit the human psychology by creating fear and giving threats to unsuspecting users.These criminals use mediums such as Phishing and fake websites that can infect users with malware. it can be very tedious to get rid of this malware.The phishing mails which are been sent by these cybercriminals are been sent using domain of official organisations with the pretext of giving recommendations and updates on the Coronavirus pandemic.

- Hover on the link before you click: Check the URL and do your research before you click on the link. Anything suspicious DO NOT CLICK.
- Don’t be taken in or fooled by the sender’s name: Scammers can put any name they like in the “from” field.
- Do not enter personal information: Any public website such as CDC or WHO will never ask you to enter your personal information.
- Change passwords regularly and report fraud: Notify your local IT team if you have received any phishing email regards to or have innocently revealed your credentials to the cyber criminals.
